Interview with Coach Don Gemmell, technical director

  • Why does Rush Soccer keep growing at this very positive rate?

Answer: The Rush business model is very different from our local competitors.  The technical and administrative staff operates and manages the club based on sound soccer decisions for each program. The collaboration of the board of directors and the technical/administrative staff has provided synergies that allow the club to achieve its yearly goals. Well-intended volunteers operate the majority of youth soccer clubs in South Texas with little to no soccer background. In addition, at Texas Rush we go to great lengths to eliminate conflict of interest within all aspects of the club.
