USSDA & TEPAL Teams Sweep Over Classics Elite

Yesterday, Sunday, May 13th, the USSDA & TEPAL teams traveled to San Antonio and Elgin to face off against the Classics Elite Academy. After having the games postponed due to inclement weather, the boys had to work hard and stay focused on the ultimate objective: winning the game.

The '97 and '98 TEPAL teams both played at noon at the McAllister Complex. The 97's pulled off a 2-0 win with goals by Angel Lopez and Kevin Rivas, while Tony Flores was the lonesome scorer for the 98's 1-0 win.

Two hours away at Texas Lutheran University, it was the USSDA teams' turn to step up and continue the winning streak for the club. The U18's kicked off at 1pm with a 4-1 victory completed with goals by Bubacarr Jobe, Javi Vazquez, Omar Acosta, and Diego Galdamez Coca. The U16's followed at 3:30pm with a 4-0 shutout to complete the sweep over Classics Elite. The goal scorers were Shareef El-Saadi, Chris Berrios, Elias Valdez, and Cesar Castaneda.

Following a very successful weekend, the teams are back at training to prepare for their next journey up to UT Dallas where they will face off against Dallas Texans on May 19th and 20th.
