Texas Rush Soccer Club
would like to strongly encourage our Adult membership to become a Referee. Depending on the age group of the assigned game a Center Referee can make $12-$28 and Assistant Referees (AR) are paid $15 per game. Upon request, youth referees (13 and older) can be assigned to work with adult referees as ARs in the beginning so they get some comfort with refereeing before being assigned as a Center Referee for younger games. Signing up for weekend games is very flexible via email to our Referee Scheduler and always at option/request of each referee (not required or automatic assignments).

For any complaints or issues related to referees, please direct your initial inquiry to your coach who is aware of the proper procedures for giving formal feedback to the appropriate league of play and it's referee assignor/monitor.  The Soccer Code of Conduct requires all participants (players, coaches, trainers, parents, spectators to the fields) to respect the officials and refrain from any derogatory or verbally abusive comments either before, during or after a game.  Violation of this Code of Conduct or referee assault will be dealt with by Texas Rush and/or the applicable play association affected by this situation.  Referee assault and ongoing cases of verbal referee abuse are handled directly by the State Association - STYSA - and can result in immediate suspension from participation in any activities.
