Tournament Check-in...

  • Check-in for teams playing is at WINGS-N-MORE on the feeder of I45 at HWY 242 from 7pm to 10pm this Friday night. For directions please go to http://www.texasrush.com/index.php/42-club-tournaments-and-events/70-rush-cup-check-in-information
  • Saturday morning check-in. For those who can’t make check-in, we will have check-in at THREE SITES ONLY! Make sure you check in at least one hour before the kick-off of your first game on Saturday. The three sites for check-in are:
      • BEAR BRANCH for teams of any age playing at Bear Branch AND U13-18 GIRLS TEAMS.
      • ALDEN BRIDGE for U10/11/12 Boys and Girls teams that are playing at Alden Bridge ONLY!!
      • CARL BARTON for U13-18 BOYS teams that are playing at CARL BARTON ONLY. 
      • IF YOUR TEAM PLAYS AT THE WOODLANDS HIGH SCHOOL LOCATION OR AT SHADOWBEND YMCA FOR YOUR FIRST GAME ON SATURDAY PLEASE CHECK-IN AT BEAR BRANCH TOURNAMENT HQ (PAVILION). 
      • Follow these specific instructions to be able to check-in on Saturday: 
        1. Don’t abuse this service. If you can come on Friday to WINGS-N-MORE please do so.  It will make everyone’s life easier on Saturday morning especially yours.
        2. Make sure you have all of the right info. (SEE BELOW ROSTERS/PLAYER CARDS/MEDICAL RELEASES). There won’t be any time to fix problems on Saturday like there would be on Friday night! I would hate for team to be unable to play due to you forgetting something!!

Rosters

  • Please use your official roster if you have one. I know there are some problems at this time of the year with new rosters being created. Last year’s rosters are still official until the end of the month so you can still use it. You can write in guest player’s information on this roster. If for any reason you do not have an official roster, get a letter from your club’s registrar with their signature on it to prove your players have been registered and are covered by insurance. On this letter we need the player full name, birth date, player ID # and statement stating they are registered at your club or association.

Player Cards

  • Please use this year’s if you have them. However WE WILL ACCEPT LAST YEARS if you have an official roster with the player listed on it. Guest players with no card, please have your club/association registrar generate a guest player card. If for any reason you do not have the official player cards, get a letter from your club’s registrar to prove your players have been registered and are covered by insurance. See 4 above for specifics.

Medical Releases

  • Please make sure you have a medical release for all players with you at check-in.

Directions: The restaurant is located at 16580 I-45 (on the right hand side off the south feeder road, exit 242/College Park Drive traveling from Conroe on I-45 South – see map below).

Another fall season and, more importantly, Rush Cup 2012 are just around the corner. Listed below are some important pieces of information to make the event run smoothly for all.

Schedules
We hope to have them out by late Wednesday morning. If we don’t meet this deadline, don’t panic; it means we are working on it and will get them out as soon as possible. If you send me an e-mail asking when it will be out, all you will be doing is delaying the process. Please be patient!! Check the tournament webpage at www.texasrush.com: click the Tournament/Events tab from left menu, click link for Rush Cup, and then click on Schedules link.

  • Alden Bridge Sports Fields, The Woodlands
  • Bear Branch, The Woodlands
  • Carl Barton, Conroe
  • Lone Star College - Montgomery, The Woodlands
  • The Woodlands High School Main Campus and 9th Grade Campus, The Woodlands

Tournament Check-in
Check-in will be at Wings 'N More on Friday evening, August 17th, from 7 – 10 p.m.

For those who can’t make check-in on Friday, August 17th , we will have check-in at tournament headquarters on Saturday morning, no later than one hour prior to your first game. There are specific instructions to be able to do this:

  1. Don’t abuse this service. All Houston area teams must check in Friday night. To check in Saturday, you must email Stuart Fitzsimons at This email address is being protected from spambots. Uniforms

Visitor will wear WHITE and Home Team will wear COLORS. Home team is listed first on the schedule. HOME TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CHANGING WHEN THERE ARE CONFLICTS!!


Game Cards

- YOU WILL GET FIVE (5) GAME CARDS AT CHECK-IN.

- HOME TEAM: PLEASE GIVE THE REFEREE THE CARD WITH GAME INFORMATION FILLED IN ON THE FRONT OF THE CARD.

- REFEREE MUST SIGN THE CARD AFTER THE GAME TO VERIFY THE SCORE.

- THE WINNING TEAM NEEDS TO HAND IN THE GAME CARD TO TOURNAMENT HQ AFTER THE GAME.

- IN THE EVENT OF A TIE THE HOME TEAM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR HANDING IN THE CARD.

Heat/Hydration

- Please make sure your teams bring plenty of fluids since this is South Texas in August … HOT BABY, HOT!!

- Bringing a team tent would be a very wise decision.

- There will be a MANDATORY WATER BREAK halfway through each half for all age groups. The clock will keep ticking while this happens.


Field Conditions:

Be prepared for dry and dusty or wet and humid.
