Rush players earn multiple honors/awards

Philip Piper (USSDA U18) and Hannah Smith (U18 Nike Girls) were presented with the Texas Rush Award of Excellence 2012.

This is the club's most prestigious award that is given to both a male and female senior who have competed for the club over a long period of time and are now graduating. This award was presented in front of over 1,000 people at Woodlands High School at Rush Night 2012. The criteria of the actual award are based upon the following character traits that were recognized through their Rush playing careers: commitment, leadership, passion, excellence, loyalty, tenacity, professionalism, work ethic, attendance and attitude. The names of the above two players, along with previous years' winners, are placed on plaques which are located in the lobby of the Texas Rush Soccer office.
